Privacy Policy
inlinenamestyle.com is a free Unicode text tool. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to information when you use it. It is deliberately short and specific instead of being padded with legal boilerplate.
1. The short version
- No account, no sign-up, no profile.
- The word or name you type into the generator stays in your browser โ it is never uploaded, logged or stored by us.
- The only personal data we receive is what you choose to write in the contact form or send by email.
- No advertising network, no behavioural profiling, no data trading.
2. Who is responsible
The site and the practices described here are operated under the name Inline Name Style, publisher of inlinenamestyle.com. โWeโ, โusโ and โourโ below mean that publisher; โyouโ means anyone visiting the site.
3. Information we receive
There are only two ways information reaches us:
- A message you send. The contact form asks for a name, an email address, a subject line and the message itself. Those four fields are used only to read your enquiry and reply to it. The form is delivered through a small relay on our own subdomain (see section 7) rather than through a marketing platform.
- Ordinary server records. Our hosting infrastructure keeps short-lived technical logs โ IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser identification and response code โ the same records every web server produces. They exist for security and troubleshooting and are not used to build profiles.
4. What we do not do
- We do not create accounts, so we hold no passwords and no user profiles.
- We do not store what you generate. There is no history feature and no server-side conversion step.
- We do not run Google Analytics, AdSense, social pixels or any other third-party tracking script on this site.
- We do not sell, rent, license or otherwise trade personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
5. Why we are allowed to handle it
Under Indiaโs Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the โDPDP Actโ) we rely on two bases:
- Your consent, given by the act of submitting the contact form, for the sole purpose of answering your message.
- Legitimate uses recognised by the Act, for keeping minimal security logs and for responding to lawful requests from a competent authority.
We also follow the security expectations of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
6. Cookies and local storage
The site works without advertising or analytics cookies. What may be stored on your device is limited to:
- a small preference entry in your browserโs local storage, so interface choices survive a page reload;
- the ordinary browser cache for stylesheets, fonts and images.
You can clear both from your browser settings at any time; nothing on the site stops working if you do. If a feature that needs a cookie is ever added, it will be described here first.
7. Service providers
We keep this list deliberately short:
- Hosting and delivery. The site is served by a hosting provider that processes requests on our behalf and keeps the technical logs described above.
- Message relay. Contact form submissions are sent over HTTPS to a relay endpoint on our own subdomain, which forwards them to our mailbox. Messages are not published, indexed or used for anything other than correspondence.
- Email. Our mailbox provider stores the messages you send until they are answered and cleared.
Each provider may use the data only to deliver the service concerned. Your details are not passed to anyone else.
8. Advertising
No advertising network is active on inlinenamestyle.com at the time of writing, so no advertising cookies are set. If ads are ever introduced to cover hosting costs, this policy will be updated before any such script goes live, and the change will be described in plain language rather than buried in a footnote.
9. How long we keep things
Contact messages are kept only while the conversation is open and are deleted within 12 months of the last reply, unless we are required to retain them. Server logs roll off automatically within 30 days. Aggregated, non-identifying counts โ for example how often the tool was opened in a month โ may be kept longer, because they cannot be traced back to a person.
10. Security
Traffic to and from the site is encrypted with TLS, and access to the mailbox that receives contact messages is restricted and protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfect: if you believe a message you sent us has been exposed, tell us and we will investigate.
11. Your rights
As a data principal under the DPDP Act you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and give you a summary of it;
- correct anything inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
- erase data that is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for;
- withdraw the consent you gave when you submitted a message;
- nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
Write to [email protected] with the subject line โData requestโ and we will respond within the timelines set by the Act. We may ask for enough detail to confirm that the request comes from you, and no fee is charged for handling a reasonable request.
12. Children
The tool is meant for a general audience but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child, and no data collected here is used for targeted advertising. If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent us a message, contact us and it will be removed.
13. Visitors outside India
The site is operated from India and the data described here is handled there. If you access it from another country you do so on your own initiative, and local law may give you additional rights โ write to us and we will do our best to honour them.
14. Grievance Officer
In line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, complaints about the site or about how personal data is handled can be addressed to:
Grievance Officer โ Inline Name Style
Email: [email protected]
Subject line: โGrievanceโ
Acknowledgement within 24 hours; resolution targeted within 15 days.
15. Changes to this policy
When the way the site handles data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Material changes are also flagged on the home page for a reasonable period. Continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept the revised policy.
16. Contact
Questions about this policy, or about anything else on the site, can go to [email protected] or through the contact form. We aim to reply within one working day.
This version of the policy has been in force since 30 October 2026 and replaces earlier versions.
